Question 1

What is Artificial Mission Intelligence?

Accepted Answer

Artificial Mission Intelligence (AMI) is software that turns a commander's intent into coordinated action across uncrewed systems. It fuses sensor data into a mission graph, forms and revises assumptions, and recommends what to do next.

Question 2

How is that different from autonomy?

Accepted Answer

Autonomy moves a machine. Mission intelligence accomplishes an intent. A self-driving vehicle knows how to get from A to B; AMI knows why it is going, and what to do when B is no longer the right answer.

Question 3

Who is AMI for?

Accepted Answer

Anyone who runs missions under changing conditions: armed forces, police, border guards, coast guards, rescue services, firefighters and civil protection. The missions differ; the problem is the same. The plan meets reality, and someone has to understand what changed and decide fast.

Question 4

What counts as a mission?

Accepted Answer

Anything with an objective, constraints, resources and a clock. A patrol, a search and rescue, a wildfire response, a humanitarian escort, a border watch.

Question 5

What does that look like outside the military?

Accepted Answer

A wildfire crew is working a containment line. The wind shifts and the access road behind them will be cut off. An alert would say “wind change”. AMI says which crews are affected, which exit is still open, what it does to the containment plan, and how sure it is. The incident commander decides.

Question 6

Is AMI only for drones and robots?

Accepted Answer

No. Human teams, vehicles, drones, fixed sensors and reports all feed the same mission picture. Uncrewed systems are where the need is most urgent, because they multiply faster than the people to run them.

Question 7

Is AMI a chatbot?

Accepted Answer

No. A chatbot answers a question and forgets. AMI keeps a live model of the mission running: the objective, the plan, the resources, the constraints, the assumptions and what is changing. You can talk to it, but conversation is only one interface. AI models, including language models, can run inside AMI; the models are not AMI.

Question 8

Isn't this just another alert system?

Accepted Answer

An alert tells you what happened. AMI tells you what it means for the mission, what you could do about it, and how confident it is. “Road blocked” becomes “Route Alpha is no longer viable; reroute via Charlie; arrival window still holds.”

Question 9

Do we have to replace the systems we already use?

Accepted Answer

No. Keep your stack. AMI connects to your sensors, maps, command systems, databases and comms, and feeds its understanding back into them.

Question 10

How does AMI know how we work?

Accepted Answer

Your doctrine, procedures and standing orders are part of the mission context. AMI reasons about a situation the way your organisation is expected to operate, not in the abstract.

Question 11

When does AMI help: before or during the mission?

Accepted Answer

Both. Before, it helps build a usable plan fast and compare options. During, it spots the moment the mission stops behaving like the plan and helps adapt.

Question 12

How do I know whether to trust a recommendation?

Accepted Answer

Every recommendation shows its evidence, its sources, its confidence and the assumptions behind it. You can review, accept, modify or dismiss it.

Question 13

What if AMI is wrong?

Accepted Answer

Then the person in charge sees why. Because AMI states its assumptions openly, a wrong assumption is visible and can be corrected, instead of hiding inside a black box.

Question 14

Do I need HELM hardware?

Accepted Answer

No. AMI is hardware-agnostic and integrates drones, vehicles and sensors you already own. VARG and NORD are our showcase platforms.

Question 15

Who is in control?

Accepted Answer

The human. AMI recommends; the operator decides. Every consequential action requires human confirmation.

Question 16

What happens when communications are jammed?

Accepted Answer

Assets keep executing the last intent with local processing and resynchronise when the link returns. This is shown live in the film.

Question 17

Is the film real?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Real soldiers, real platforms, real system output. Simulated assets are marked as simulated on screen.

Question 18

Why a European company?

Accepted Answer

Built, owned and supported in Sweden. Data and control stay with the nations that deploy it.
