SHARED OPERATING PICTURE.
Op-Centre turns distributed sensors, autonomous systems, personnel, assets and events into a live shared picture — showing what is happening, what is uncertain and what may require action.
Op-Centre is not just a map. It is the operational surface where connected systems become understandable.
Field data is only useful if operators can trust and understand it
In degraded environments, the challenge is not simply collecting more data. Sensors, vehicles and navigation systems may all produce partial, delayed or uncertain information. Operators need to know what happened, where it happened, which system reported it, how confident the system is and whether the data is still current. A conventional map can create false confidence if it hides uncertainty. Op-Centre is designed to show the operational picture together with the confidence, age and limitations of the data behind it.
- Sensor detections need context, source and confidence.
- Vehicle positions need uncertainty and navigation health.
- GNSS-degraded operations require local frames and last trusted positions.
- Operators need events and recommendations, not only icons.
- Operations need replayable logs for analysis and improvement.
A live shared view for demanding environments
Op-Centre receives structured events from HELM products and integrated systems and turns them into a shared operating picture. It shows assets, personnel, NORD sensor nodes, detections, routes, navigation state, alerts, recommendations and operational history in one interface.
One interface. Every system.
Built on structured field events
Op-Centre is powered by the HELM event model. NORD, VARG, NAV-KIT and Mission Brain all emit structured events with source, timestamp, confidence and payload. Op-Centre subscribes to those events, updates the world model and visualizes the current operational picture. The system does not require perfect data. It is designed to make imperfect data operationally useful.
Op-Centre can display
Where HELM products come together
Op-Centre is the shared interface for the HELM system. NORD reports observations. VARG moves sensors and payloads. NAV-KIT estimates vehicle state and uncertainty. Mission Brain recommends actions. Op-Centre turns those inputs into a shared operating picture.
NORD sees. VARG moves. NAV-KIT orients. Op-Centre understands. Mission Brain recommends.
Built to show uncertainty, not hide it
In remote, disrupted or GNSS-degraded environments, showing a precise position can be misleading if the underlying data is uncertain. Op-Centre is designed to make uncertainty visible and operationally useful.
- estimated vehicle position with uncertainty radius
- last trusted position
- stale data indicators
- sensor confidence
- detection confidence
- navigation health
- data source labels
- route state
- confidence-rated recommendations
The goal is not a perfect picture. The goal is a usable picture that operators can understand and act on.
Designed for field demos and repeatable learning
Op-Centre should be presented as the product that makes HELM demos immediately understandable. It turns field activity into visible operational state.
Phase 1 — NORD static detection
A NORD node is placed in the field. Op-Centre shows the node online, its sensor cone, battery state and observation sector. When a person or vehicle enters the field of view, a detection appears as an event with confidence and snapshot.
Phase 2 — NORD repositioned by VARG
NORD is mounted on VARG and moved to a new location. Op-Centre updates the sensor position and observation sector, then displays new detections from the new location.
Phase 3 — NAV-KIT confidence overlay
A vehicle or VARG reports estimated position, heading, route state and uncertainty. Op-Centre shows GNSS-trusted, degraded or denied modes together with confidence and last trusted point.
Phase 4 — Mission Brain recommendations
Mission Brain generates simple recommendations from the current state, such as observe, continue monitoring, reposition NORD, dispatch VARG, return to last trusted point or request operator approval.
Phase 5 — Replay
The entire scenario can be replayed from the event log, including device state, detections, movement, recommendations and operator actions.
From field interface to operational coordination layer
Op-Centre begins as a live field visualization and replay system. Over time, it becomes the operator surface for distributed sensing, navigation state, operational intelligence and multi-platform coordination.
- multi-NORD sensor networks
- multi-vehicle shared operating picture
- external system integration
- role-based operator views
- route planning and route confidence
- sensor coverage analysis
- blind-sector identification
- operational replay and after-action review
- degraded communications handling
- operational reports and export formats
- deeper Mission Brain integration
- customer-specific workflows
Op-Centre displays the operational picture; AMI continuously explains what changed and why it matters.

Op-Centre is built for the reality of demanding operations: sensors may be remote, positions may be uncertain, communications may be intermittent and operators may have seconds to act. It preserves a shared operating picture when certainty and connectivity degrade.
