Connective Layer

THE CONNECTIVE LAYER BETWEEN SENSORS, AUTONOMOUS SYSTEMS, OPERATORS AND INTELLIGENCE.

Individual sensors and systems see only their own part of an operation. Platform connects those fragments into shared context that authorised teams can use.

Connection

Connected systems. Shared context.

Every NORD node, VARG unit and integrated third-party system generates its own detections and status. On their own, these are fragments. Platform structures and correlates them into a continuously updated operating picture available to authorised teams.

System Flow

From sensing to response.

On small screens the flow is summarised as: Sensors & Systems → Platform → Op-Centre & Mission Brain → Action.

Operator Environment

Op-Centre: where operators work

Op-Centre is the operator-facing environment built on top of Platform — the place where the shared picture is viewed, verified, and acted on. It surfaces what Platform has connected without requiring operators to manage individual device feeds.

Built for degraded environments

Platform is designed to keep operating usefully when bandwidth is limited or connectivity is intermittent, buffering and re-synchronising state as links come and go. It is engineered for resilience in these conditions — not for absolute security or uninterrupted operation, which no system can guarantee.

Interoperability

Platform is built to integrate with third-party sensors and systems already in use by partners, rather than requiring a single-vendor environment.

Platform and Mission Brain

Platform connects the operational picture. Mission Brain applies Artificial Mission Intelligence to interpret and coordinate within it.

Platform's job is connection and structure: gathering, correlating, and maintaining shared state. Mission Brain's job is interpretation: applying AMI to that shared state to understand what changed, why it matters, and what to consider next. Platform does not itself reason about the picture — it makes the picture available for Mission Brain and human operators to reason about.
